As the sun began to set, there was a warm golden glow over the Columbus Georgia Riverwalk, and I had the pleasure of capturing Brittany and Andrew’s engagement session. With laughter echoing through the air and excitement bubbling for their upcoming January 2025 wedding, this session was a beautiful testament to their love.
The Riverwalk, with its stunning views of the Chattahoochee River, provided the perfect backdrop for Brittany and Andrew’s engagement photos. The vibrant colors of the sunset painted the sky in shades of orange and pink, creating a magical atmosphere that set the tone for the evening. As we strolled along the pathway, the natural beauty around us mirrored the joy and affection shared between these two.
There’s something undeniably special about golden hour—those precious moments just before sunset when the light is soft and flattering. Brittany and Andrew embraced this moment, their smiles illuminated by the warm light. Whether they were playfully twirling or sharing sweet glances, every shot captured their genuine connection and the excitement they feel as they plan their future together.
One of the highlights of the session was the laughter that filled the air. Brittany and Andrew have a playful chemistry that is contagious; it was impossible not to smile as they joked and teased each other in between poses. This lightheartedness not only made for beautiful candid shots but also showcased the deep bond they share. It was evident that they are not just partners but best friends, ready to embark on a new chapter of their lives.
I always say that the world is big yet so small at the same time, and their story is a testament to this. Both Andrew and Brittany attended Columbus State University Music School, but did not meet until they both lived in San Antonio working for two different musical organizations. What are the odds they attended the same fairly small school(neither of them are from Columbus either), and meet in Texas, of all places.
As Brittany and Andrew prepare for their January 2025 wedding, this engagement session was a perfect way to celebrate their love and the journey ahead. With each click of the camera, we captured not just images, but the essence of their relationship—the hope, the dreams, and the excitement of building a life together.
Brittany and Andrew’s engagement session at the Columbus Georgia Riverwalk was a delightful blend of breathtaking scenery, heartfelt moments, and endless laughter. As they count down the days to their wedding, I am so thrilled to have been a part of this special time in their lives.
We ended their session strolling a few of their favorite street in Uptown Columbus and allowed them time to reminsce of their undergraduate time, and passing each other between classes. I am so grateful to know this incredibly sweet couple, and can not wait for their January 2025 wedding in Midland Georgia.
