Washington DC is full of charm, elegance, romance and fun. From the stunning architechure, parks, and many iconic locations, there are so many options to cater to your elopement vision. Spring is one of my favorite seasons in DC, especially for elopements.
Chris and Taylor wanted an iconic location with views of the United States Capitol, and Union Station immediately came to mind, and they loved the location.
Union Station stands as more than just a transportation hub; where history and romance collide. The simplicity of their elopement was intentional, a deliberate choice to focus on the essence of their love and commitment without the distractions of a grand ceremony. It was an intimate affair, with just the two of them, each moment steeped in heartfelt meaning and significance.
The elegance of their elopement was evident in every detail, from Taylor’s timeless gown that fluttered delicately in the breeze to Chris’s dapper suit, tailored to perfection. Against the backdrop of Union Station’s majestic architecture, they radiated a sense of grace and poise, their love shining brightly for all to see.
After the ceremony, the newlyweds stole away for some private time together, basking in the glow of their love and the beauty of their surroundings. As they explored the ornate halls of Union Station hand in hand, they were filled with a sense of joy and gratitude for the journey that had brought them together. After their private time together, we stepped outside in the morning glow.
With the sunrise and The United States Capitol in the background, Chris and Taylor had the time of their lives and their connection is so evident. The gentle touch of Chris’s hand on Taylor’s face to kiss her, Taylor’s glance at Chris while dancing in the street and their sweet embraces. It was an honor to photograph their Washington DC elopement.
