Springtime in the South is a season of blossoming flowers, gentle breezes, and the promise of new beginnings. It’s a perfect time for love to bloom, and what better way to celebrate it than with a small, intimate wedding set amidst the charm of historic Phenix City, Alabama? Phenix City is a small town nestled along the Chattahoochee River outside of Columbus Georgia, and is the epitome of southern charm and small town living.

Brandon, Haley and I connected at the Columbus Wedding Expo in January, and from our first meeting I was so excited for their day. They are a very close blended family, and every aspect of their family was included in their wedding day. Seeing their love and truly having the time of their lives together as a family was so touching.

There was not a dry eye in sight when they exchanged their vows and was such a sweet moment to witness between Haley and Brandon. The love for each other exuded and was truly heartwarming.

After the ceremony, it was time to continue the festivities at the historic Tuckabatchee Masonic Lodge, just a short drive away. Steeped in history and Southern charm, this elegant venue offers a cozy yet refined atmosphere for celebrating with friends and family. Its rustic accents create a warm and inviting ambiance, perfect for an intimate reception filled with laughter, love, and heartfelt speeches. Brandon’s daughter gave the most heart warming and sweet speech about how excited she is to have a bonus mom like Haley and how much she loves her, and so happy to have her join the family.

And, they had a surprise for all the guests…. Scroll down to see their surprise

They recently found out they are expecting a baby girl, and decided to do a gender reveal with their wedding cake. Another really special moment of their wedding day!

After dinner and cake, we stepped outside for some golden hour bridal portraits and let me tell you, these are some of my favorite bridal portraits I have taken.

After bridal portraits, they danced the night away with their loved ones. From Cotton Eyed Joe or Soulja Boy, everyone enjoyed the party on the dance floor.

Brandon and Haley had a beautiful spring wedding dnd I was so honored to have photographed their special day so they can relive their wedding for decades to come.

Cheers to the new Mr and Mrs Jenkins! I wish you many years of wedded bliss and so excited for you as you bring another human earthside. I can not wait to see what the future has in store for your family!
