Louisville Kentucky is home of the Kentucky Derby, and such a fun place to travel to and visit. If you haven’t visited Louisville Kentucky, you have to add it to your travel list. As a destination wedding and elopement photographer, Kentucky is one of the most unique and special locations in the Midwest full of beautiful landscapes and scenery.
Jerrica and Stephen reached out to me in early Spring for their fall wedding, and we immediately clicked. We talked about our love for Louisville(my hometown), travel, our hobbies and so much more. They attended a Bible College and found out we have several friends in common.
They met online in 2022(yay for another Hinge couple), quickly fell in love, and Stephen proposed later in the year in Panama. How romantic and unique!
When it came time to plan their engagement session, there was no doubt that Waterfront Park in Louisville was were we would do their session. Waterfront Park is a large park along the Ohio River with a variety of backdrops, but nothing beats the Big Four bridge. While walking around, I mentioned hoping the Belle of Louisville, an iconic steamboat in Louisville, would make an appearance and not even 10 minutes later she was on the water, and it was the cherry on top to end their engagement session in Louisville. The weather and golden hour was so perfect!
I am SO excited for their wedding in October 2023, and can not wait to celebrate their marriage with their loved ones in Louisville Kentucky!
