Columbus Georgia Courthouse Elopement | Amanda Richardson Photography

Weddings

Nicholas and Abby chose a small intimate courthouse elopement to begin their forever, only surrounded by their best friends and son.

We met at The Russell County Courthouse in Phenix City Alabama, and they signed and paid for their license, and they were officially married.

In the state of Alabama, once you pay for your marriage license and sign it, you are married. You do not need a ceremony, officiant or even a pen.

After they completed the paperwork and were officially married, we found this beautiful spot to take some bridal photos. Despite the cloudy weather, these are some of my favorite photos of this sweet couple. Just look at them!

Afterwards, we met their best friend and their children for a vow ceremony along the Columbus Riverwalk in Columbus Georgia as having their son being present was very important to both of them. They had their friend say a few words, they exchanged rings, sealed their marriage with a kiss and celebrated with their son.

After some family photos and quick couple photos, we finished their elopement with a champagne toast and cutting cake!

No matter how you choose to get married, you can incorporate all the details and traditions that are important to you, or do things your way. There are no rules to creating the day you get married!

From elaborate celebrations to intimate elopements around town, however your wedding day looks like you will have the best day of your life with your partner.

If you are in Columbus Georgia, Phenix City Alabama or Fort Benning Georgia and chose to elope, it would be an honor to be chosen as your photographer.

Elopements begin at $350
