Chris and Taylor knew they wanted to elope and spend the day doing exactly what they wanted, and on the schedule they wanted.
Taylor chose an elegant and simple satin gown and Chris wore a custom black suit, both complimenting their personalities and elopement day perfectly.
Washington DC boasts many beautiful locations such as museums, parks, and many iconic locations. Taylor and Chris chose Union Station, one of my personal favorite spots for intimate elopements. The architecture, backdrop of the United States Capitol and beautiful historical interior, there is no shortage of beautiful spots for photos to exchange vows and for portraits.
These two decided to exchange their vows outside with the Capitol as the backdrop at sunrise, and the morning was absolutely beautiful. Here in DC, you can self officiate anywhere in the city so no need for an officiant!
In pure DC fashion, there were travelers and buses whizzing by but Chris and Taylor were in their own state of bliss. It was one of the sweetest moments I have witnessed. They hugged, danced and were truly living their dream day.
