On November 2, 2024, Gabriella and Michael celebrated their love in a beautifully whimsical and Victorian-inspired wedding that blended timeless elegance with a sense of magic. Set against the historic backdrop of Fort Moore and the National Infantry Museum in Columbus, Georgia, their special day was nothing short of enchanting.
A Historic Setting: The Infantry Chapel & National Infantry Museum
The ceremony took place at the Infantry Chapel on Fort Moore, a stunning venue known for its classic charm and rich military history. The chapel’s graceful architecture, with its soaring ceilings and stained-glass windows, provided the perfect atmosphere for Gabriella and Michael’s romantic exchange of vows. With the National Infantry Museum just steps away, their guests were treated to a day that captured both the solemnity and joy of a lifelong commitment.

The chapel itself, tucked away in the heart of Fort Moore, gave the ceremony a sense of intimacy and reverence, while still allowing for the sense of grandeur and historical significance that matched Gabriella and Michael’s vision for their wedding.
A Whimsical, Victorian-Inspired Theme
Gabriella and Michael’s wedding was a dream come true for fans of vintage charm and whimsical beauty. Drawing inspiration from Victorian-era fashion and design, they created a celebration that was both classic and enchanting, with a hint of playful fantasy.

Gabriella’s wedding gown, a showstopper in every sense, was a detailed lace masterpiece that evoked the elegance of Victorian style, with high collars, delicate embroidery, and intricate beading. The gown was paired with a delicate lace veil that cascaded softly behind her, giving her an ethereal, almost otherworldly appearance as she walked down the aisle.
Her bridesmaids were dressed in beautiful and green gowns with flowing skirts, each piece reflecting the Victorian theme while maintaining a light, whimsical air. The delicate hues of blush, lavender, and mint perfectly complemented the muted tones of the chapel and the lush surroundings of Fort Moore.
A Day of Preparation: Rothschild-Pound House & Marriott Hotel
Before the ceremony, the bride and groom shared their respective moments of preparation with their closest friends and family. Gabriella and her bridesmaids gathered at the elegant Rothschild-Pound House in downtown Columbus, Georgia. This historic home, with its charming antebellum architecture and stately interiors, set the tone for an unforgettable bridal morning. The spacious rooms were bathed in natural light, with soft, vintage touches like antique mirrors and lace curtains creating a serene environment for Gabriella and her bridesmaids to slip into their dresses.

Meanwhile, Michael and his groomsmen prepped for the big day at a local Marriott Hotel in downtown Columbus. The contemporary setting was a perfect counterpoint to the Victorian theme, with sleek lines and modern details helping the groom and his men feel confident and polished as they suited up. Michael looked every bit the dashing groom, his tuxedo tailored to perfection and his boutonnière adding just the right touch of sophistication.

A Magical Ceremony & Reception
The ceremony itself was intimate and moving, with Gabriella walking down the aisle to the soft strains of classical music, her father proudly by her side. As she and Michael exchanged vows, their words were filled with love, hope, and the promise of forever. The chapel, bathed in the golden light of late afternoon, seemed to glow with the couple’s joy. The newly married couple exited the chapel with confetti and a horse and carriage waiting for them.

After the ceremony, guests were invited to the National Infantry Museum for the reception, which continued the Victorian theme in a truly spectacular way. The venue’s grand space was transformed into a whimsical wonderland, with vintage-inspired décor that included flickering candles, lace table runners, and delicate floral arrangements. The mood was romantic and cozy, with strings of fairy lights overhead and elegant chandeliers hanging like diamonds in the evening.
While the guests were enjoying social hour, Michael and Gabriella took some time away to spend intentional time together, and we had the most beautiful sunset during bridal portraits.

The reception was a celebration of love, laughter, and family, with heartfelt speeches, an elegant dinner, and dancing late into the night. Gabriella and Michael shared their first dance under a canopy of twinkling lights, a fitting tribute to their fairy-tale wedding day.

A Day to Remember
Gabriella and Michael’s wedding was a reflection of their love story—romantic, timeless, and full of joy. From the historic setting at The Infantry Chapel to the whimsical Victorian details that filled every moment, their day was a perfect reflection of the couple’s vision for a celebration that was both meaningful and magical.

As the night came to a close, Gabriella and Michael chose to not have an exit and had their loved ones surround them in prayer to end their wedding day. It was a fitting end to a day that was, in every sense, the beginning of a new chapter in their beautiful love story.
