Nicole and Jose’s wedding was vibrant, romantic and infused their cultures together in the most personal and special way.
They chose to not see each other before the wedding and have their first look when Nicole walked down the aisle, so I met Nicole at The Convention Center, where Nicole, her mom, and her bridesmaids were getting ready. As soon as I walked in the music was blasting and the energy was high. The bridesmaids and Nicole were dressed in matching pajamas(a great gift for your girls) and the vibe was set. The perfect start to such a special day. Nicole opted for a first look with her girls, and it was such a special moment with lots of hugs and some tears.
Before we knew it, it was time to head to the church to get married!
Their ceremony was the perfect infusion of their cultures and religions. Both were walked down the aisle by both of their parents and blessed by their parents as they gave each others hands to commit their lives to each other. The ceremony was a testament to their love and dedication to each other, and was so beautiful.
Following the ceremony, the celebration moved to the bustling Columbus Trade and Convention Center, where the air was filled with the aromas of delicious food and the sounds of great conversation among guests. The reception hall was adorned with decorations that reflected their diverse heritages—colorful centerpieces of spring flowers and bubbles.
During cocktail hour, the bridal party, Nicole and Jose, and I took advantage of golden hour. I always ask the bridal party to tell me stories of the bride and groom, and their party did not hold back. We were all having so much fun and laughing until we couldn’t.
Guests indulged in a pasta feast catered by Columbus Trade and Convention center, and then it was time to cut the cake. Nicole and Jose were very sweet to each other and gently ate their cake as family and friends cheered them on.
As soon as the the cake was cut, the dance floor came alive with the rhythms of merengue, salsa, and popular songs inviting everyone to join on the dance floor for the rest of the night.
As the night came to a close, Nicole and Jose exited the Trade Center to bubbles filling the air and celebrating the best day of their lives, infusing their cultures and traditions and starting the most beautiful chapter of their lives.
