I know it can feel daunting without having a wedding planner, coordinator or even your mom to plan out the details, but this is where I, your elopement photographer come in, to ease your mind and help you plan the most epic day of your lives.

Whether you are local to Columbus, coming to celebrate your partner graduating from Basic training or any school at Fort Moore(formerly known as Fort Benning), or Columbus Georgia has a special meaning to you, Columbus is full of romantic and unique locations to choose from to elope with your future spouse.

Columbus Georgia is home to Fort Moore, aka Home of the Infantry, beautiful parks, adorable city streets and some of the best southern cruisine you will find in the Chattahoochee Valley.

Let me begin by introducing myself and how I fell in love with elopements.

I am Amanda, a wife, obsessed dog and cat mom, ice cream connoisseur and passionate about love, including rom-coms.

My husband and I chose to elope in 2014, and honestly it was the best decision for us. The only regret we have is not hiring a professional photographer to document our day. Thankfully we have iphone pictures, but they aren’t the same.

Here is where my passion for elopements comes in.

I want everyone to have a wedding gallery they are obsessed with, and one they will cherish for decades to come. A gallery they will be proud to pass onto the next generation and share at family and friend gatherings. I don’t want any couple to have the same regret as we do.

Now, back to Columbus Georgia.

Your elopement day can be whatever you want, but first we have to focus on the legalities. I know, boring.

Now, back to the fun details.

Choosing where to get married is one of the most important decisions you have to make for your elopement.

A few locations I love and highly recommend are:

Providence Canyon State Park(48 minute drive). There is a $5 entry fee per vehicle. This park has been deemed “The Grand Canyon of the East Coast”, and is one of my favorite parks to hike and spend the day at. It offers many picturesque backdrops and reminds me of the Grand Canyon in many aspects.

Town Hall in Old Town Columbus.

The town hall is perfect for couples who want to include family and friends in their special day, and have one location for all your festivities. The greenery space and local park(pictured below) will be stunning for bridal portraits or to have your family and friends gathered around. They have a few add ons to include chairs and tables so you can customize your elopement to suit your needs. Another great perk to utilizing the town hall is the local restaurants and bakery just steps away. You can grab breakfast, lunch, a coffee, beer and cocktail, or even dinner after exchanging your vows.

Town Hall rental fees begin at $2500.
